Well it is the end of July and in Los Angeles it feels like Summer is just starting. It has just started to hit the 90′s everyday and people are at the beaches in bunches. People of all ages Swimming, Running, Surfing, playing Volleyball, Tennis, Football, Soccer and every other sport that can be played outside. No matter which cardiovascular exercise you take part in, make sure that you consistently replenish yourself with lots of liquids, primarily water. It is also good to exercise inside when it is this hot outdoors. Exercising indoors on a treadmill or an elliptical is much better than taking on the heat on the hottest of summer days.
The REPUPATION of the manufacturer who produces the exercise machinery you are looking at is important as well. GREAT NAME BRANDS INCLUDE KETTLER, BODY-SOLID, BODYCRAFT, PRECOR, LIFE FITNESS, STAR TRAC, CYBEX AND STAIRMASTER. Try and do some quick homework on the brand name of the piece of home or commercial fitness equipment that you are looking to buy. Most of the time you will find that the company you are looking into is entirely legit and manufactures quality machinery (especially if you purchase with the Kings of Cardio) but sometimes you will find that the company in which you are looking into doesnt have a good reputation at all. Many off-brands and private labeled products come with illegitamate warranties and are prone to breaking down. It is absolutely a must that you not buy brands such as these. With all of the great fitness equipment brands such as Precor, Life Fitness, Star Trac and Cybex (some other too), why in the world would you ever gamble on a company that has negative reviews? It would make no sense. If you really want to be the guy who gets Georged by some sly fox salesman on some toy, they call a piece of cardio equipment, then by all means go for it! Maybe you can be the guy that gets a piece of fitness equipment that matches up with those of your friends that cost double what yours cost. I tried to be that guy with a stereo system once. When some slicksters came up to my car and offered me what looked like a $2000.00 stereo for $150 and some Tupac CD’s, I jumped at the opportunity, hahhahaha opportunity, and bought it ($125 and some CD’s….seriously). Then after I bought this sweet looking stereo from these sharks, I called all my friends and told them to meet me at my house to see the new amazing stereo I bought at a fraction of what they all paid for theirs and well we all know what happened…..unless your a… well…. anyway it didnt work at all, and that is exactly what is going to happen to you when you buy some piece of exercise equipment called the Super Track by some freak who goes by the name of Super John the Fitness Don. But like I said, if you really want to give it one shot, then go for it and gamble! Good luck and remember we told you so. BUY A PIECE OF HOME GYM EQUIPMENT THAT IS MADE BY A REPUTABLE COMPANY!
People sometimes forgot the strong coorelation that ties together how well we perform at work with how much exercise we do on a daily basis. It has been said that due to the fact exercsising releases stress, professionals are much calmer at work after they exercise and therefore work more deliberately without rushing. Next time you have a really bad day at work, try to exercise for at least a half an hour the next morning before work and see if that next day goes better for you as a result of exercising before hand.
The great thing about getting into the groove of working out before or after work every day is that you convince yourself that you must exercise in order to perform your best. As a result, you will turn into someone who actually cares about their health and will look forward to getting better everyday. Always remember, every day you either get better or you get worse. There is no in-between. Are you determined to run on the treadmill, ride the exercise bike, train on the elliptical cross-trainer, climb stairs on the stair stepper, use rowing machines, or build muscles on home gyms. We sure hope so, your health and mind depend on it.
I have recently got in to a stomach workout which has been showing great results within 2 1/2 weeks. It takes me about 20 minutes a day and combined with a little cardio keeps me on the road to meeting my fitness goals. People tend to overlook their abdominal muscles and just go for the easy stuff like legs, biceps, chest, back and all of the exercises where you can just sit there and use your amrs, or just your legs. Doing sit-ups feels very difficult because you are using your entire body at once. Myself included, we just do not do enough work on our stomachs. Why? I have no idea. You would think that the main thing everybody does when they workout would be focused around their belly because afterall, that is the determination world-wide as to whether or not somebody is in shape. But instead of people going to the gym and doing crunches all day, they do one 1,000,000 reps of bicep curls, or bench press. Stomach crunches are totally forgotten. Even ab-equipment is almost non-existant. When you go to the gym you see a ton of treads, a gang of ellipticals, recumbent bikes by the dozen, room fulls of spinner bikes, at least 10 step mills, stair climbers, StairMasters or whatever they are called, at least 50 pieces of strength equipment, rows of rowing machines, loud and noisy free weight equipment everywhere, multi-station strength piece / home gym like set ups blocking your vision every way you look, but where the hell are the ab-machines? Hello? Anybody seen one?
I have purchased several pieces of fitness equipment from Kings of Cardio and have been using them for several years. I start my day with 30 minutes on the recumbent bike and then 30 minutes on the Precor Elliptical Cross-Trainer. I am 54 years old and have never been big on lifting. I used to run but my knees and back started to be effected by the constant pounding and I gave it up. The aerobic workout gets me started every day and I am able to deal with the challenges of my day with a healthy attitude as a result of my workout. I believe everyone should motivate themselves the be productive before noon and if you get out of bed and commit to an early excersize program you will be able to stay both physically and mentally heathy.
Start by getting a piece of equipment and using it. It does no good to get something and let it become a hanger for your clothes. Good luck and “Just Do It”
