The REPUPATION of the manufacturer who produces the exercise machinery you are looking at is important as well. GREAT NAME BRANDS INCLUDE KETTLER, , , , , , AND STAIRMASTER. Try and do some quick homework on the brand name of the piece of home or commercial fitness equipment that you are looking to buy. Most of the time you will find that the company you are looking into is entirely legit and manufactures quality machinery (especially if you purchase with the Kings of Cardio) but sometimes you will find that the company in which you are looking into doesnt have a good reputation at all. Many off-brands and private labeled products come with illegitamate warranties and are prone to breaking down. It is absolutely a must that you not buy brands such as these. With all of the great fitness equipment brands such as , , and (some other too), why in the world would you ever gamble on a company that has negative reviews? It would make no sense. If you really want to be the guy who gets Georged by some sly fox salesman on some toy, they call a piece of cardio equipment, then by all means go for it! Maybe you can be the guy that gets a piece of fitness equipment that matches up with those of your friends that cost double what yours cost. I tried to be that guy with a stereo system once. When some slicksters came up to my car and offered me what looked like a $2000.00 stereo for $150 and some Tupac CD’s, I jumped at the opportunity, hahhahaha opportunity, and bought it ($125 and some CD’s….seriously). Then after I bought this sweet looking stereo from these sharks, I called all my friends and told them to meet me at my house to see the new amazing stereo I bought at a fraction of what they all paid for theirs and well we all know what happened…..unless your a… well…. anyway it didnt work at all, and that is exactly what is going to happen to you when you buy some piece of exercise equipment called the Super Track by some freak who goes by the name of Super John the Fitness Don. But like I said, if you really want to give it one shot, then go for it and gamble! Good luck and remember we told you so. BUY A PIECE OF HOME GYM EQUIPMENT THAT IS MADE BY A REPUTABLE COMPANY!

Hello, it is really neat how you describe so many different kinds of exercise and weight loss programs. Do you feel as if there is 1 exercise program that is somehow better than the rest? In other words, what home fitness workout plan would you reccomend for someone that really wants to lose a lot of weight? thanks? also, do you have Life Fitness Treadmills and Precor ellipticals?

we tried the 15 minute sessions of push ups and sit-ups you all suggested. It has helped us stay focused during the times of the day when we were normally getting tired and sllepy. The extra cardio and strength exercises really do help our daily energy output. thanks again -

Looks like you are a real pro. Did you study about the matter? Studies on how heart rate montiors in fitness equipment can improve results are really neat and should be discussed. Being able to view your heart rate alloows you to know exactly how hard you are exercising versus having to guess. For instance, you can infer that your “fat burning zone” will represent a much higher pulse than your “cool down” stage does. But that is not to say that montitoring minimul differences in your heart rate is not important as well. Most treadmills, Precor Ellipticals and Life fitness ellipticals all have heart rate monitors built into them.

Hey I agree with everything said here about making sure you buy name brand fitness equipment. Companies like Precor, Life Fitness, Star Trac and a couple other leading gym equipment distributors, have earned themselves great reputations due to each of their own unique and reliable appoaches to manufacturing fitness equipment. So why someone would buy a cardio, or strength piece of fitness gear, from an off-label brand, is beyond me. There are way too many reputable and well-known fitness equipment companies out there to just go and buy some XYZ treadmill from a guy names super slim. Anyways,,,those are my two cents, thank you for letting me post and ramble here. :)

Hello I used to play football in high-school so I am familiar with home gyms, but some of the latest technology is comprehensive to say the least and if there is someone I could call about the pulley system on my BodyCraft X4 – 4 Weight Satck Gym, then that would be great.

I have been trying to get off of narcotics for a long time and exercising really helps keep my mind off of getting high. Having tried everything possible in order to quit doing drugs, the one thing that really does help is working out. When I go runnign or I am on the bench press it is like I can release all of my frustrations and I forget about drugs. Unfortunately, when I stop working out and my body is sore from the physical training, I can sleep better at night and do not need chemicals to make me feel better. So if you are one of the millions of people out there addicted to drugs, grab an exercise bike, home gym, treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, stair climber, or just do some exercise on your own without gym equipment. You will feel much better and have a much easier time quitting drugs, including cigarettes.

I agree with you about home fitness equipment. Recently I purchased a CardioZone brand treadmill that I had never heard of. I bought it because I was sold a dream by a salesman who sells all kinds of sports gear and health supplements. The fitness store and its salesman seemed reputable, but the “off brand” equipment was horrible and the treadmill literally broke a week after it arrived.

The author of http://www.kingsofcardio.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: The truth is always true even if noone believes it to be Thanks for the info. Making sure home fitness equipment is name brand and is coming from a reputable company is crucial towards making sure you find club quality home fitness equipment.

The information here is great. Home fitness equipment has been in the news lately as more and more people aim to lose weight for the new decade that has embarked upon us. The question is, can stay fit and healthy without home fitness equipment? Many people have exercise routines that do not incorporate any sort of gym equipment at all. Instead, they run at a local track, do push -ups, sit-ups, calistenics, stretching, swimming, riding bikes, rock climbing and any other physical activity they can think of that does not involve gym or home fitness equipment. Although exercise equipment is great, there are so many different ways people can get in shape without having to spend a trillion dollars on huge fitness equipment that takes up a ton of room.

My friend and I were recently discussing about how we as a society are so hooked onto electronics. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become. People need to exercise more and incorporate home fitness equipment into our daily routine and that way we will be healthier and fight off disease with more ease. The key to staying fit and healthy is making sure you have a treadmill and an elliptical in your home, preferably Precor, or Life Fitness equipment for either residential or commercial environment.

Precor fitness equipment is by far and away the best kind of gym equipment on the market. Since the 1980s Precor equipment has been a staple of all major health clubs and fitness facilities across the nation. With their invention of the elliptical cross-trainer, precor really elevated their game, as they have been spearheading the gym and home fitness equipment industries for the past decade.

    Hello..
it is nice to have found a great place to find nice products such as gym treadmills and ellipticals. The Star Trac E-TBTi elliptical machine looks really nice. Home much does the average home gym cost? Average elliptical? treadmill? Recumbent BIke? I am sorry for all for all of the questions but it has been a long time since I have been in a fitness store.

nice article. For the past 5 years I have tried to live a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. Precor home fitness equipment has really helped me look and feel really good. Having home fitness equipment really allows you to workout whenever you feel the sudden urge or impulse to get a workout in.
